Mark Reid Insurance was founded on February 1, 1989, when Mark Reid opened the doors with a simple goal: build an insurance agency based on trust, strong relationships, and protection that actually makes sense for real people and businesses. On day one, Mark wrote policy number one himself, setting the tone for a hands-on, service-first approach that still defines the agency today.

Over the years, Mark has led the agency with a focus on clear communication, affordable options, and dependable protection. What began as a one-person operation has grown into a full-service independent insurance agency with a knowledgeable staff of six, serving individuals, families, and businesses throughout the area.

As an independent agency, Mark Reid Insurance works with a wide range of insurance companies, allowing the team to offer flexible options across both personal and commercial lines. Personal insurance offerings include auto, home, boat, motorcycle, and many other everyday coverage needs. On the commercial side, the agency works with businesses of all sizes, including tow truck operators, trucking companies, contractors, and other service-based businesses, providing options for general liability, workers compensation, commercial property, and more.

Mark Reid is also deeply invested in the community he serves. For many years, he coached youth baseball and continues to volunteer as an assistant coach for the local high school basketball team. His involvement extends beyond sports into local organizations, including past service as Chairman of the White House Area Chamber of Commerce and recent service on the Board of Directors for The Credit Union for Robertson County.

Through its referral program, Mark Reid Insurance has donated more than $10,000 in recent years to organizations such as the American Cancer Society and the American Heart Association.
